F. DATA SHARING WITH THIRD PARTIES

Your personally identifiable information will not be sold to advertisers or spammers.

We share your personally identifiable information in three cases: (1) with your permission, (2) as required by law, and (3) change of ownership, each as more fully described in the paragraphs below.

We may be required to disclose user information pursuant to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws. We do not reveal information until we have a good faith belief that an information request by law enforcement or private litigants meets applicable legal standards. Additionally, we may share accounts or other information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, to protect our interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated through the ExtraDonation service or using the ExtraDonation name, or to prevent imminent bodily harm. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers, agents, or government agencies.

If the ownership of all or substantially all of ExtraDonation’s business, or substantial portions of the business owned by ExtraDonation, were to change, your information may be transferred to the new owner so the new owner can continue providing services to you. In any such case, your information would remain subject to the protections provided in our Privacy Policy.

When you use the Website to make a donation or contribution to support an organization or a campaign, we will share your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, employer, and occupation with that organization or campaign so that they can recognize and thank you, or fulfill any obligations it may have.

The campaign or organization may also use that personal information to contact you with more information about the mission and activities of that organization or campaign.

Examples of these practices include: sending a thank-you letter to acknowledge a purchase or donation; sending out by post or email advertising or marketing materials to you about the charity or organization you supported; or contacting you because you have contributed in the past to ask you for further support for that organization or charity.

We do not need your consent to process your data for legal purposes, or for many administrative purposes, but in some cases, we may need and will request your consent for direct marketing purposes. To the extent we share any such personal information with third-party campaigns or organizations that you have supported, those third parties shall treat it in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Please remember that anyone who has access to your username and password may be able to access your personal information; therefore, we encourage you to keep your password secret to prevent any unwanted access.

In addition, please remember that you are in control of sharing personal information that you provide to the website, including by using the privacy settings.

Where we disclose personal information for a purpose set forth herein, we enter a contract with the third party that describes the purpose and requires the third-party recipient to both keep that personal information confidential and not use it for any purpose except performing the contract.

Minors under 18 years of age in California may have the Personal Information that they provide to us through the Website deleted by sending an email requesting deletion to [email protected]. Please note that, while we make reasonable efforts to comply with such requests, deletion of your personal information does not ensure complete and comprehensive removal of that data from all systems.

CALIFORNIA DO NOT TRACK DISCLOSURE

Some Internet browsers include the ability to transmit “Do Not Track” signals, which is a privacy preference that users can set in some web browsers, allowing users to opt-out of tracking by websites and online services. Since uniform standards for “Do Not Track” signals have not been adopted, ExtraDonation does not process or respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
